A tiny chapel that you could easy miss, but it is well worth searching it out, and having a look at. Recommend.

Well preserved Byzantine art. Worth the small admission fee. Well interpreted, peaceful, cool and calm.

This tiny ancient church is so worth a visit. Set in a cave, with Byzantine paintings it is incredible to behold. It's perfectly cool and gorgeously ancient and surprisingly well preserved. A must-see in Modica!

We would not have found this historic site if not for the person at the visitor's center. It is an amazing example of the preservation that goes on in Sicily. The picture identifying the site is not accurate.
