The Castello di Meleto is in the center of an ideal geographical triangle...

The Castello di Meleto is in the center of an ideal geographical triangle formed by the cities of Siena, Florence and Arezzo. Surrounded by six beautiful houses, painstakingly restored in 2000, preserving its rustic Tuscan style. Each house has a private garden or terrace that overlooks the countryside surrounded by green vineyards and olive groves. In the basement of the castle, a real historical monument, a charming wine shop allows you to taste our wines, our organic extra virgin olive oil and salami of Cinta Senese from our farm. In addition, daily guided tours of the ground floor of the castle, the eighteenth-century theater, the dungeons with ancient cellars, prisons and the secret tunnel to escape from the Castle .. will make you to live an unique and unforgettable experience in a real castle in the Chianti area.

We stopped by without booking anything and were able to walk around the beautiful premises and enjoy the lovely views. We also did a wine tasting which was quite nice, and even bought some of their honey! great place to visit for a wine tasting / tour and some lovely wine to take home.

I was a wedding guest here and it was one of the best weekends of my life. I went with my family including and a 3 year old and my baby and it was immense. We stayed in the actual castle, such an experience for my daughter. Facilities are limited but we managed. There is something magical about this place... More

Like the title suggests - I'm biased. I got married here a few weeks back and obviously I had the weekend of my life. The surroundings are beautiful - the location great and two infinity pools adds to the flavor. My guests really appreciated the wine as well. Well worth a stay, visit or marriage for that matter.

Make sure to visit this winery if around Gaiole. Very good wines and really good service. One can sit in the garden and enjoy the wine tasting.

The wine tasting itself was a bit of a mess. They asked us to grab a table and brought over some wine, my wife had to chase one of the servers down to find out info on the wine. We also had to fight with them to get the bread and cheese we had paid for in advance. The tasting... More

The tour of the grounds ending with a wine tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She provided the tour in both English and Italian due to the mix of our tour group. She shared great insights on the history of Chianti, Castello di Meleto, and the baroque style. The wine tasting that followed was so... More

As you may be able to guess from the title, we recently got married at Meleto. From meeting Katia Mastrandrea at a wedding event in London she was the most helpful person. Katia recommended some great suppliers and none of them disappointed. She recommended that we visit the venue before taking the decision to get married there and it didn't... More
