Nice to visit, very touristy ...

Expect to pay 2 euros to enter. It's worth a visit but not a must see. Good luck with the restrooms.

Fantasic, this place is like a scene from a Hollywood movie. It has changing facilites and showers. There are 2 pools which yoy can bath in. The main attraction one is breath takin but in the 20 degrees or so. The smaller one is much warmer and smells of sulpher. This is a great place and it only cost 2... More

This place is beyond description. It is like a scene out of a movie. Surrounded by sounds of nature including birds. (Assuming other guests are being quiet). The water is heated naturally by coming from the volcanic underground. They have modernized it now with change rooms and an Volcano info center.

Very relaxing place to walk and have a thermal bath. You can watch the real endemics from the Azores.

This review is just for the Interpretation Centre, not the park as a whole. The staff at the centre were very knowledgeable and friendly, helping us to understand the makeup and future plans for the area and providing information on local plants and birds. Interesting exhibits. Picked up some very informative literature at a reasonable price. There are so many... More

Small but idyllic. Perfect for pictures. The waterfall was lovely but that pool was a bit cold. But once you get in it's great. Then we walked over to the hot pool which has a scent of sulfur, but it's incredibly warm and cozy. There's also a small centre with information about the area and the flora and fauna. And... More

A fascinating place to visit if you have any interest in environmental matters. We didn't go in the hot pools - but they looked quite full (and the water quite hot!). We visited as part of a day tour in the region, but the hour we spent there was probably long enough to see everyhthing.

This place looks great in the photos - without the crowds. If you decide to go, there is only one pool with warm water, that holds maybe 20 people max practically touching. Lots of walking, and not much else to do. My one reason that I did not give this a zero star rating is the interpretive center deep in... More

One hot spring and one cold pool, maybe nice on a warm day. The hot spring is very small, shallow and crowded and was filled with children playing when we went. I would definitely recommend the hot springs in furnas over this stop.
