We stopped at the Anne of Green Gables Museum as part of our tour of Prince Edward Island. It was a very nice stop, where we toured the home/museum with original furnishing -- including an old stove -- and enjoyed a picnic lunch on the...More

It is a bit of a ripoff of Green Gables. Not a ton to see for the money. It's a private money maker for the owner and not like Green Gables. It's ok to pop into, but don't expect much.

This was our third visit to this heritage site and found it very appropriate that admission was free during our 150th birthday for this quintessentially Canadian experience. Very friendly and knowledgable guides. The gardens were in full spring bloom for plenty of photo ops and...More

A nice place to visit that is appropriate for all ages. Enter into the fictitious world of LM Montgomery and Anne as you walk through the house. Don't forget to take a walk through the lover's lane.

I would say half a day is plenty enough. Make sure to visit the book store. The lady running the book store gave a beautiful little explanation about the life of the author, etc. We really enjoyed that. :)
