We enjoyed the hike down to Glen Falls. You have to drive down a dirt road to get to the parking area, but it was worth it. The hike is all downhill going, but coming back was a bit challenging. The trail looks like a...More

This a was nice place to hike. The pathway down was moderate with help of wooden steps added every now and then, but a few tree roots were there also. There are a few view areas where you can view the Falls on the way...More

Could have stayed all day. The view was amazing. The walk back was a bit harder than on the way down but well worth it. Just beautiful.

Highlands, NC has great waterfalls. I'm learning about them. Plus it's not too far from GA so the trip is worth it. If you travel Highway 106, you will take a sharp turn into Glen Falls Road, which is a gravel road. There is limited...More

With a gradual but significant elevation change, this isn't a hike for those who don't have some lung capacity and muscle endurance. But what an experience Glen Falls is! With multiple waterfall views that begin at the top, then offer two middle-section views then finally...More

A nice walk along the edge of the falls. Stay on trail and everyone should be fine. It is downhill and less than a half mile. Anyone in moderately good health should be able to traverse this hike down and back up. Our... More

Room for probably 20-25 vehicles in a gravel/dirt lot at the trailhead. It is a beautiful hike. Be aware that it is downhill going in and uphill all the way back out.
