The visit to the Jingzhou Museum was surprisingly interesting and educational. Their collection of cultural and archeological relics was quite impressive. There were some great displays at the museum, including a very well preserved mummy. The setting was also very picturesque.

The mummy was on display so all can see. Interesting displays of Chinese history. Give yourself and hour and check it out.

Beautiful interconnected buildings with a center water feature make this a wonderful place to visit. The historic relics contained within the museum's walls only add to the intrigue. I especially enjoyed viewing Mr. Sui, the museum's very well preserved mummy. The mummy's well preserved guts...More

Jingzhou Museum is an interesting museum that has more than 120000 ancient Chinese historical relics dating back to the Han dynasty. It has potteries, bronze items, and silk items. The most interesting exhibit is the well preserved male body, purported to be 2000 years old....More

One wing deals with artifacts from excavated local tombs, including a 2000 yr old perfectly preserved male body. Another wing deals with weavings and some lost skills & techniques.

This small museum contains a really good collection of old bronzes and pottery, showing how advanced the Chinese culture was at a very early period. Worth a visit
