On the way from the airport to the resort this attraction is the perfect place to break the drive and enjoy a freshly made tropical juice or smoothie. Enjoy the outside seating and the view over the valley. One thing to be careful of is that when you enter the shop area you will be approached by staff who will pressure to purchase product - its a little uncomfortable.

The whole thing feels very scammy. The tour is 30 min, done in a hurry, almost running around. The guide had 2 sentences prepared for each stop and could not answer any of the questions the group asked. Then they bring you to the shop where they insist you buy something. The place however is beautiful which is a shame

This Fruit Farm sounded wonderful but was very underwhelming. The tour was quick with not too many varieties of fruits shown or discussed. We weren’t allowed to wander on our own to see more varieties, although the tour guide spoke of how many different species they grew. We paid for the juice and fruit plate but received no unique or different fruits that you couldn’t get at any supermarket. Plus it is very far from town and we had to pay for our Grab driver to stay since finding a return Grab would be next to impossible to find. Not worth it really.

We had a fun time exploring the farm. The team members know a lot about the fruits and their uses. We had a taste of seasonal fruits and a good buffet after the trek.

Good experience for the entire family. Get to see many types of fruits plants.
Just prepare enough bugs repellent so that you won't get insects or mosquitoes bites.

This place was one of the best hidden gems in our drive. A definite must visit for a quick stop to quench your thirst and enjoy breathtaking views. Absolutely amazing hospitality and service by the staff too. They have a huge variety of smoothies, fruit juices, finger food and more. Amazing must visit spot

The farm tour really give us good experience and appreciation of our local fruits and had increase our knowledge definitely. Talked to Mr Quah about the farm, and I hope his legacy will be continued. You should try the fruit enzyme and nutmeg + pineapple drinks.

Easy, informative, interesting tour of the fruit farm. Saw so many fruits I had never seen before. We ate so much fruit straight off the trees during the tour. The hobbits houses are a great spot for photos. I was with my 2-year old and she really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Mohammad was kind and patient and really great with my little girl. Great value for money and a great way to pass a few hours.

A cool breeze in the hills with breathtaking views! The variety of fruits are amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable. The food and coffee are reallllly good. The cendol is my fave. The gardens were great to walk around with the kids and family. A lovely day out.

Definitely a must go in Penang. The staff are all friendly and the trip was delightful. Got to know about new types of fruits including a special miracle fruit that when eaten, causes sour fruits to taste sweet. Really recommend to come.

Best to ask at hotel whether they offer shuttle service to fruit farm, if not get a grab taxi. Cheaper than normal taxi.
The Tropical Fruit Farm website will give you admission prices

Is it possible just to buy some fruit of your choise at the farm?
And is it also possible to walk around on your own or do you have to pay for this?
EKQuah
George Town, Malaysia
Yes you can buy fruits from us but you can’t walk around the farm by yourself. You have to pay for a guided tour.
Thanks.
Quah.

Hi
Which fruit farm is better? the one at Penang or the one at Langkawi (Mardi Agro Technology Park)?

I didn't go to the farm in Langkawi. Tropical fruit farm is worth the experience. At Ghee Hup Nutmeg Factory, you learn something you will not learn else where, it's just a 10 mins visit.
hi.. wat types of fruits wil b available in june?
EKQuah
