There are like 3 beaches in one, so you can walk through an endless beach watching surfers at the distance. Beautiful beach, though it is mostly for surfers, due to the rip current is dangerous for swimming.

Love this long uncrowded beach. Light sand and big waves, good for surfing. Left untouched, no parasolls or sunbeds in sight. Good to like dogs 'cause there are several of them here. Nice to just relax or take a walk along the beach. Beautiful sunsets!

Santa Teresa beach is lovely. Had amazing times lying on the beach, taking a swim and hanging with all the beach dogs

Great beach to surf. A lot of peaks but at the best breaks it can get quit crowded. If the swell gets to big its only closing out. Sunset is amazing.

When travelling so far and with such terrible roads, you expect a nice beach. Maybe if a surfer, the waves make it great. However the beach is full of sticks, trash and other debris. Glad I went and swam in a famous surfing beach, but not somewhere I would go again.

Best thing about this beach was the sunset. The debris on the beach was very unexpected and a real turn off. Mostly small plastic pieces were washed up on shore and the drift wood was piled up and just left there. I couldn't understand why the locals or hotels did not clean up the beach. Not good for swimming. Too... More

Playa Santa Teresa is an amazing beach. Full of palm trees and there are small pools for children too. You will find plenty of spots where you can sit and order drinks and food right on the beach to watch the most beautiful sunsets ever! On weekends there are also parties and when there' s a full moon, people gather... More

Santa teresa is a hip place in the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. the surf is always great with swells up to 4 ft unless there was tropical storms and or hurricanes around then swells can go up but not higher than 10 ft. All over the little town you will find great food, shops, cafes, young crowd, music and... More
