This is what I think of when I think of a typical Costa Rica beach. It is very easy to walk on because the beach is wide and the sand is very packed solid.

This is probably the nicest beach I've ever been to. It's very expansive and so long that I don't know where the beach actually starts and stops. The beach itself is also very deep giving plenty of space for sunbathers. It's never crowded, there are no peddlers selling anything on the beach and it's probably the cleanest beach I've been... Great for a little get away. Beautiful sunsets however DO NOT use the beach at night, couple or alone. Myself and another person were mugged on the beach and had everything stolen! Other than that, you will have an amazing time!

My fiance proposed here and it could not have been more private, gorgeous or romantic! Perfect place to park the ATV, get great food/drinks, and lay under a palm tree or jump in the warm water

Nice sand, not too crowded, beatiful people, not very commercial. You can fine few spots with shade to put up your hamac. Incredible regular waives to learn surfing. Not much food or drink to be bought on the beach apart from banana beach resto-bar...
