I had some time to kill on Sunday afternoon so I walked here from Casco Viejo (a short walk - 10-15 minutes). The setup was interesting, but I really didn't see a variety of food stalls. Worth a look. It was recommended to me by...More

A town in the middle of a dormant volcano about a half hour from the city of Coronado. Beautiful lush trees and plants coming into the area. The market has many handmade items that would make excellent gifts for anyone. A large fruit/vegetable area (if...More

it is a busy place, be prepared to jump at the first parking spot you see. It was the best place to find gifts for everyone in my list - all items sold made by locals, no Made in China labels. The prices are not...More

It is called Sunday Market and we were dropped there by the travel agency on a Monday. There is nothing to see unless you need to buy some vegetables or fruits. Don't know how it is on Sundays though.

Nice market but I might be partial since I enjoy markets in general. Good spot to buy fruit and vegetable as well as craft.

Nice little market with produce and knick knacks. Lots of hammocks, handmade jewelry, some snacks. Wood platters and bowls looked nice, but expensive.
