El chorro Macho, a water fall in the valley of Anton is near Altos del Maria. El chorro Macho and hiking trails lead you to a swimming pool, and beautiful vegetation

A nice day trip and not too difficult. There are other things to do if you want, but the pool at the end of the hike was nice. Clean and natural, it stems off the waterfall.

Great hike and beautiful views. I would recommend hiring one of the guides. We hired a 13 year old local kid who showed us the safest way up and then told us where to swim. He also showed us where to buy popsicles and cold water. We payed him $5 and it was definitely worth it!

Have been many times and they also let you get in the pool under the waterfall if you ask. I have a home in El Valle and take all visitors to these falls. One zip line experience is enough though.

This water fall is a true wonder, is surrounded by green trees and rocks, it's truly a blessing to see the work of nature at its finest.

If you don't like rope suspension bridges, you won't like this place. I love rope suspension bridges, and there are 4 or 5 of them here. The falls are beautiful, and the pool is as well (and secluded), though as you might expect the water is rather cold.

If you are a person who enjoys nature this is a place that you have to visit. This is a trail in the woods where you can walk around and see this beautiful waterfall. If you pay close attention you will see snails and other animals. Also if you like water there is a natural pool with fresh natural water... More

It's nice how they give some extra information and how you can walk around over the bridges. The swimming area wasn't used when we were there
