This review is from my trip in May 2015. I can't change the date that far back. Came here by bus to spend the day lounging on the beach, eating great food and do a little shopping. It was a day spent well. We got there around 11am, got haggled by a few beach vendors who want you to lounge... More

Cool for spending the day *or half a day as there are other treasures in the island. Water sports are ok, the killing point is the view

Sandy beach with pretty pebbles all over, the Perissa beach is dotted by quaint cafes. Best recommended sunning here after a brunch at one of these cafes. Lovely dark shore with pristine blue water.

Perissa is one of the best beaches in the island. A very long coastline with many sunbeds and umbrellas, and every year more beautiful.

Perissa beach, or "Black beach" (named because of the black pumice instead of white sand) is very beautiful and unusual. Lots of umbrellas and loungers available, and if you purchase drinks or food from the local tavernas you can use their washrooms and wi-fi without charge. Believe people when they say the sand is HOT! Wear your sandals down to... More

Being from California, when you see still water that is super clear and the day is hot; you expect the water to be warm and jump in to freshen up! But no! Lol, the water is much colder than expected! Now... Of course it is not bad at all, but it was a quick shock and felt like I was... More

Quaint little beach on Santorini Island . Very friendly people Plenty of space to relax on the numerous lazy chairs. A few restaurant/cafe choices and the beach is located away from the "touristy"zone

First black sand beach I have ever seen. Very beautiful, long beach located on the southern part of Santorini . You may take Santorini day tour to get into this place. The small Perissa village has lots of souvenir shops. ..
