Thought I'd be wowed, but was just ok. Interesting to see the black "sand" and to walk on the rocks, but wasn't all that pretty. I heard Kamari is better

If you're in Santorini for a while, then Perissa beach can be visited several times. You can sit in different places along this very long beach and feel like you're in a different spot each time. One bit of advise... Keep walking till you find...More

Perissa beach has restaurants and stores on the boardwalk and the beach across the street. Lounge chairs are available. Highly recommend going to Yazz Restaurant and going to their lounge chairs. Chairs are complimentary, but you need to spend 10 euro per chair from the...More

Nice beach, worth to visit. We visited the Perissa beach after our lunch at the Acropolis restaurant in order to relax by the sea. The location is fine, the parking was free and the sea was great.

More of a typically Santorini beach in that you don't have the perfect Caribbean sands and clear water, but the beach is in good conditions, lots of umbrellas you can use if you buy drinks at one of the cafes, and a good selection of...More

This is busy And is a little bit shabby - I would keep travelling up the coast road to Pevilas - this has a large range of nice places to eat and drink and the beach is clean and the water is accessible

We visited in August and rented so chairs and umbrellas. The sun was hot and the water was surprisingly cold. It ended up being a great combination. Give the water a few minutes (after you get in to your chest, it all feels good!). The...More

Black sandy shale. Looked great for sunbathing, bars and restaurants right on the beach front. The part we were at had no sand in the sea just a very smooth slippery rock surface. Like walking on ice. Apparently if was better further up. We suck...More

After a hectic day in Santorini's picturesque towns it's lovely to relax in the iridescent waters and enjoy the black sand beach.

There's a straight bus that runs from Fira bus station to the beach! If I'm not wrong it runs every 20 minutes.

Many good questions... Too far away from perissa to fira by foot. At this time of the year maybe better to book before. At night it is also far from perissa to fira or Oía, but Fira is nearer. Do not miss the sunset... More
