This lovely inlet and beach sits adjacent to the already listed Ladiko Beach. It is where several scenes were filmed for the "Guns of Navarone" motion film, which featured the actor Antony Quinn, hence its name.

Our first visit to Rhodes was in 1988 when we visited Anthony Quinn Bay for the first time. We visited on a small boat from which we swam to the beach. There was no way down to the beach from the top of the cliffs. I was very disappointed how built up it is now. I know this is progress... More

We visited this location primarily because of the association with the actor Anthony Quinn and the movie "Guns of Navarone" some of the shots of which were filmed here. It's a steep drop down to the beach via a winding path and not for the feint hearted or disabled. The cafe at the top was pleasant for a simple lunch... More

Stunning place, the last place on our days road trip, I'm glad we didn't visit here first as I probably wouldn't have wanted to go to the other destinations. We got here around 4pm and we were only joined by a hand full of other people, pretty much had the place to ourselves, fantastic.

Apparently Anthony Quinn fell in love with this area when filming a movie and he purchased property here. I can see how we would have loved it.
