Only spent a day at this highly significant historical sight and would like to have spent another two days. Very good sight for History buffs and can be completed via a tour or yourself. What detracted from the experience was the commercial aspect. Shops constantly try to highlight the cheap aspect of the Knights Templar second crusade, which was detracting... More

We didnt have a lot of time in Rhodes but visited the Old Town after a week on the nearby island of Symi and before our transfer to the airport. The walls are so impressive and vast. The inside has quite a lot of tacky souvenir shops and cafes but walk around and soak up the atmosphere. We were there... More

So much to see and do in this amazing town. Learnt a lot and missed so much more as there is such a complicated history connected to this fascinating town. Need to return.

"Must see" on Rhodes island. Amazing views, beautiful alleys of ancient city, good food inside old town.

The medieval town is on first sight a touristic town as others: shops and restaurants all over. But If you look a little bit further it still has a lot of original details. If you passes the crowded center there is even a more quiet part with less shops and restaurants but beautiful and the impression as If it still... More

The medieval city is amazing. It's so well maintained. You could go every day and still find another tiny street. They weren't happy when we didn't want them and... More

I walked to the old town from Ixia, nice coastal walk. Friends went bus which takes you near the entrance to the old town where you can wander round narrow streets, eat at many cafes, or walk round the ramparts
