Unlike Capri's Blue Grotto which was 14 Euros this lovely grotto was only 5. If you are on the Amalfi Coast it is worth a stop.

I'm not upset that it cost 5 Euro each. But the fact that we took an elevator to go around in a boat in a cave for 15 minutes upset me the most. You can't swim in the grotto nor is there anything spectacular to...More

So you get there, pay 5 euros and go down an elevator where self proclaimed El Capitan takes you on a 5 minute tour of the grotto. It's very underwhelming. We picked this over the blue grotto because it was cheaper and now we know...More

TOURIST TRAP! 10 Euro for the boat ride there & 5 euro more to get rowed around a tiny cave with the "Captain" singing "O solo mio" and reminding you every 2 minutes to tip him. The only upside to this "tour" is that we...More

Seriously, the biggest tourist trap going. The "tour" consists of stepping into a rowboat and having someone who just asks for tips, and whistles or hums a few bars of an Italian song, rowing a few feet to show you green ripples on the water,...More

Pretty but only in there for a short time. Boat trip from amalfi to there gives you lovely views from the sea though.

Very, very, very touristy.. the grotto is rather small, you get into the boat and the guy that takes you in almost immediately starts making jokes about his tip and does not stop until you get out again 10 minutes later. We had a good...More

Very pretty. Lovely and cool in the summer but very small. Entrance fee only 5 euros. Staff on the boats not great but worth a visit

If you're in the area this is worth a quick visit. You won't be there long but for 5 euros you get a short paddle boat tour and simple explanation.

Lovely trip. Taken on a rowing boat round the caves. Beautiful still clear water and got to see the hidden nativity scene.

It's a small grotto, but you will definitely want a guide to take you there. The hotels will be happy to help you find a guide. We found ours on the internet. You don't want to drive the Amalfi coast and its towns on your... More
