Traditional seaside with large car park and adequate facilities for all the family. Surf school, cafe shop toilets and no amusement arcade. A place where children and adults can enjoy themselves using their imagination like the old days

A good old fashioned unspoilt beach that has not been overdeveloped. It's not as crowded as it's popular neighbour Viking Bay. It has good sand, a cafe and shop, toilets, bouncy castle, lifeguard station and a surf school. What more do you need for a...More

My kids had great fun playing in the sand and in the sea. However, there was lots of litter around and no surf. I wouldn't recommend it as a surfing beach. There were lots of seagulls. The lifeguards are on duty until 6pm. Ideal for...More

The beach is lovely and I would give it 5 stars. However the Kent council don't want you to park here at £10 for 4 hours there having a laugh. However if you arrive early you can park on the road opposite all day for...More

This is a beautiful bay with soft sandy beach. Ideal for surfers as well. Not too commercialised. Children love the sand and the sea. In the winter it can be a bit bleak.

Joss bay is a diamond of a place. The beach is just beautiful and feels secluded. It can get very busy on nice days. The little cafe/shop is wonderful, reminds me of my childhood, small but packed with everything you could need and the staff...More

Hello, Yes bbq's are allowed, they are permitted on the right side of the beach as you walk down the slope with good signage. They do request that you take the coals home with you and not bury them in the sand so disposable... More
