Local beach, lots of sand and lifeguard attendance. Lots of colourful beach huts, so very popular. Sea wall so nice to be able to walk to next beach at Viking Bay.

A lovely peaceful beach with wonderful views across the channel nicely tucked in between Margate and Ramsgate. Some great eating places and plenty to keep you occupied. Parking is a bit of a problem but can be overcome.

After 6pm dogs can be exercised in this bay. Owners are very careful to keep the area clean. The bay can be accessed from the Eastern Esplanade and viewed from the top of the cliff above it.

A very nice beach with a few beach huts and a cafe which i think is only open during the summer season (was closed when i visited the bay) Easy access from Broadstairs end.

Nice sandy beach. Not as busy as Viking Bay. Has toilets and a kiosk that serves food and drinks. Life guards onsite. Bit more of a chalk platform to the sea but a good spot.

I stayed opposite this beach in the delightful Bay Tree Hotel. It's a lovely beach, quite wide then the tide's out, with sand, pebbles and rock pools - everything you could want. There are a lot of dog walkers but it never feels busy. Be careful...More
