The Rock Bar is famous in West Belfast. My taxi driver picked me up in Central Belfast and offered to take me on a "wee" tour of the murals on Falls Road, which I gladly accepted. The Irish people are very friendly and helpful (I'm in a wheelchair) they held open the front doors and tapped each other on the... More

I was a bit dubious about visiting the rock bar but my husband convinced me it was safe enough for us lol. Bar staff & locals were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. Bik Mcfarlane was singing when we visited. He was a lovely singer and we enjoyed sitting listening to him while enjoying a quiet drink. We... More

Lovely bar. Cheap drinks and awesome friendly staff. Me and my partner were made more than welcome when visited. Rebel Sunday was one of the best nights I've ever had. We will be visiting again that's for sure.

Three of us called into rock bar on a recent visit to Belfast. We enjoyed fantastic cocktails at very reasonable prices and found the locals friendly

If you're in Belfast, you have to see the Rock Bar. Especially at Friday night or Sunday night, when there’s Bik McFarlane or other Rebel Music. The bouncers are doing a good job, the barkeepers could be a little more attentively. This bar survived an Rutschnoi Protiwotankowy Granatomjot ;-)

First time in the Rock with my brother who has been before and his friend. Got there about 4, in plenty of time for Rebel Sunday. Had a brilliant day, class music, friendly staff, nice people, good Guinness etc. What really annoyed me was at closing time. We were shouted out and basically herded out. I wouldn't mind but we... Doormen make sure everyone's a way home, went out of their way to sort a lift for two girls from antrim. Personally my favourite bar in Belfast, would recommend anyone going makes sure they see Gerry Og & Sean Doc... More
