The Gleadel St market has been around for longer than i can remember. It is where the locals shop ,but many who have moved out of the area still make it their Saturday ritual. The produce is fresh, the prices are decent and the atmosphere is lively and you get a community feel, as many stop to have a chat... More

The variety of fresh produce at this open market is refreshing to experience. All produce is grown locally by farmers, and you can see the difference in quality. From farm fresh free range eggs, to the gorgeous array of fresh bread, pastries and nuts, to fresh herbs and the myriad of fruit and vegetables on offer. I bought olive bread,... More

A place where locals have been going for years..because you can get all the cheap veggies.fruit, and if you have time a pastries and coffee to relax with before you head home. Bargains between 12.00 and 1.00pm when they are closing up.

Great spot to lose yourself in the hustle n bustle of a street market, that appears on a suburban street. Bargins to be had around 11-12 when stores are looking to close up, but super cheap anyway. Lovely park nearby to sit n watch the day go by with a coffee Enjoy :)

This is a no frills local market popular with locals. Open on Saturday mornings only, if you arrive between 12 and 1pm, you will get some super cheap deals as vendors are closing up (eg entire boxes of avocados, strawberries and mangoes for $10 or less when in season). Primarily fruit and veggies, there are also bakery items, eggs, honey,... More

Went here for the first time on the weekend and it will not be the last. Absolutely delighted with the sense of community, friendly vendors, great prices and beautiful product. I came at 7 am in a Sat morning and will def be back. It is hassle free and such a delight to shop.

A great little market where you can get the best produce early or join the crowd towards midday for the bargains. Plenty of people and noise and much better to buy fresh in season fruit and veg that lasts a few weeks in the fridge unlike the tasteless expensive Coles offering.... you can get a coffee and snacks, though hard...
