The ancient temple ruins at Ghumli date back to the period between 9th and 12th century AD. The architecture of the temples is quiet unique in that very few ancient temples of the Solanki Dynasty survive and the temples here are quiet well preserved. During our Porbandar lords inn staff suggested to visit ghumli it is historical place is in surrounding area of Bardo mountain Porbandar. It is known that during vanvass period of pandvas they had constructed palace and stayed for long period. Had visited ghumli while returning from Porbandar... It's a very beautiful and scenic drive... When we reached there was a fair going on because of Navratri as Ashapura Devi temple is located there..we went there to visit the navlakha temple which is very beautiful...though destroyed in the earthquake has been reconstructed and is worth visiting if you like visiting archeological... More

It is a very good piece of historic art, which was ruined but recently its been rebuilt and not its not same as it used to be but most parts are like they were before.

We were four people who started from Jamnagar to enjoy the weekend with Mother Nature in the season of roaring clouds. Its a excellent place to visit if you have interest historical places.its an Excavations site taken cared by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).The place is actually not well maintained.Their is Litter everywhere ,wafer packets, Empty bottle and lot more.Still a Nice place for Photography.

The Scenetic View, The greeneeries of Barda Mountain Range can be seen from the temple. It is Temple of Ashapura Mataji. Must Visit.. Situated near Bhanvad Taluka of Devbhoomi Dwarka District.
