Aurther seat is one elaborate point around 15kms from town centre with a decent and ascent walk of around 300-400 steps with nice point all along. It would be best to get a guide at the entrance marked with a information board for a mere INR 100 , the guide will tell you all the points with the history attach... More

Very peaceful point to visit in mahableshwar . U need to walk around 1 km to get to the point from the parking . While reaching to the point u cover around 4 points together. Morning and afternoon is the best time to visit . U can also see prathapgad fort to from here

Wow..it's a good point perched on the wnd of the cliff where Arthur used to sit and write.(as informed by locals) hence the name. Some fable associated with the point says that light objects tend to float rather than just fall down.Discovered to be untrue. If at all it floats it is due to heavy gusty winds.Nothing to do with Arthur or... Arthurs Seat some history beyond it written on the point to read, nice view of the mountains and surroundings. There are many points here all beside one another and too crowded and all dying to take selfie.

This is one point, where in you will be all amidst nature and the natural valleys of Mahabaleshwar! A breath taking view. Go to this place, click lots of pics and don't forget to pause for a while and enjoy the wind in your hair. Feel the beauty of this place and also eat some bhel etc. Beware of monkeys... More

On one side lies a dense forest and vegetation and on other end lies a deep valley. Our guide also pointed out the two forts that are situated, called the Raigad and Tirana. One can follow a steep path leading up to certain distance to get breathtaking view of the valley.

During the British Rule, Sir Arthur Malet used to sit on this point and look at the Savitri river flowing down the hills. In this river he lost his wife and son in a ferry accident. For tourists, this point gives a view of the Savitri river. But, during late summer, the river dries and wild bushes grow abundantly.

This spot is wonderful with wind blowing. Can see beautiful sahyadri ranges. If you are fan of fort of Shivaji you can see torna and pratapgadh on a clear day from this place.

This spot offers a vaste and very scenic view of the Sahyadri mountain range. Best time to visit would be in Oct-Dec just after monsoon in evening time. The lush green cover of fauna over the hills will be very pleasant. Avoid visits during monsoon, especially for elderly, due to mud. View of sunset is very beautiful. Should not miss... More
