Krishnabai temple is the one which is advertised in a lot of Mahabaleshwar photos with water coming out of animal heads into small manmade pools. It is quite an exciting architecture - though the temple itself is quite small. It is located in Old Mahabaleshwar...More

Very peaceful place in old Mahabaleshwar. Unfortunately there was no priest there, so we couldn't come inside garbghri. But atmosphere there is very unique, and view on Krishna river is amaze. Good place for meditation

Very nice place, which is called Panchganga temple, where five rivers meet. They charge for parking which is very odd and shouldn't be there.

We just happened to be in this place on a rainy morning. And only on entering did we realize that this is the origin of the great Krishna river!

A must visit temple near mahabaleshwar temple. It's best because no commercialization done and thus have its natural beauty maintained. 5000 yr old stone temple with exotic view. There is different feeling of vibration inside temple if you do slight meditation. Absolute quaint place

It is the temple dedicated to the river Krishna. It is not frequented by most tourists, though it is less than 10 minutes away from the main mahabaleshwar temple. Must visit.

5 min walk opp. to mahabaleshwar temple ( old mahabaleshwar town) - this ancient ruin is located perfectly overlooking the Krishna river down the valley. Few visit this temple. There is a perfect view of valley and river from there.
