It is the place you'll have probably best dives in your life and never forget. Every dive at the place is like dream like a miracle you cant believe how amazing under the sea. I recommend it strongly all the divers to go and dive there ones in a life time.

Sipadan is well protected and for good reason. The diving when we went in February was good (although the visibility wasn't the best). We did see several sharks and the jack fish were amazing. The reef was filled with more colour than I've ever seen.

If you are a passionate scuba diver, then visiting Sipadan, is on your Bucket List! Amazing corals, fish, turtles and island paradise! However, the plague of human caused pollution is visible all over the island and in the surrounding ocean. Let's put a ban on all plastics and start charging polluters with large fines!

So many sharks and turtles. Full of group fishes such as Jack fishes, Baracudas, Bat fishes, Napoleon fishes and Bump head parrot fishes. I definitely recommend this place

Sipadan is highly controlled by permit system, which is helpful to preserve it, but makes it expensive. There also have "diver police" in the area to ensure dive companies are operating responsibly. You can access it though established "full-service" dive centres (such as scuba junkie) that have regular permits allocated, which they offer as part of multi-day packages at Mabul... More

The Sipadan National Park is still a very special place for diving, but having been there eight years ago, and just returning from a week aboard the "Celebes Explorer" liveaboard (by the way, to be avoided except by die-hard divers, see my comments elsewhere), I'm afraid it is on its way out. The extraordinary growth in these last years of... More

Breathtaking. Serene. An almost spiritual experience. After you get over the beauty and volume of the marine life there's the island and its location. At least once in your life do your soul the favour.

Jacques Cousteau spoke of Sipadan back in the day. Times have changed and it's not as it was then for obvious reasons, but it is still one of the best spots to dive in the WORLD. Only 100 divers are allowed per day so you must reserve in advance and pay the fee. You will with certainty see many sharks,... More

This place is unbelievable. We had the permission for diving here from Uncle Chan's. We did 3 dives - Hanging Garden, twice Barracuda point. It was amazing. The Barracuda and Jackfish school was woow all the time, plus beautiful corals plus white-tip sharks. You simply have to go there.
