It was a lovely place to visit. The meseum contains lots of ancient stones, cutleries, part of buildings, and many more. A true historical place.

Well worth a visit, Shows the history and surroundings of Sozopol (Apolonia) which used to be part of the Greek empire.

1. Sleeping staff. 2. not systematically collection. Text is not connected to things. 3. No audio guide. It is really pity in such great place so awful museum. After Neseber museum it looks very bad.

Very interesting museum, with many archaeological artifacts, considering the rich bulgarian history. There are stuff from prehistoric, Thracian, roman, greek, first and second bulgarian kingdoms.

With our student cards we got in for only 3 levas (about 1,5 euros). Having studied history I found this archeological museum interesting. Its collection spans from the first found evidence of settlers in the Sozopol area to close to present day. Many interesting artifacts...More

There should be more descriptions in english. Nice souvenirs, good place to rest from the summer heat and learn something about the history of Sozopol. Good ticket price..
