We booked the landing tour through Casey's because they offered online bookings. The OPW was holding up permits this year for some reason and keeping Casey's tours in my browser and refreshing it daily granted me the opportunity to secure my booking the moment the...More

We had a fantastic time on our landing trip to Skellig Michael. The crew kept us comfortable and safe on the ride out there and back. We all slept on the way back with the boat rocking us to sleep after going up all those...More

The boat trip round the 2 Skellig islands was well run and was about 2 and a half hours long. We circled both islands and stopped at a few vantage points to take photos in front of both islands. Our driver gave us some background...More

Brendan Casey and son Brendan, and Brendan's first mate were all great, they took such great care of us. Excellent communication, and they are great mariners, fully living up to the name of the patron saint of the mariners. We are so happy we finally...More

Though we couldn't land on Skellig Michael, we did the next best things which was to get really close to both Skellig Michael and Little Skellig. We were able to see the monastic settlement up at the top of the rocky island and get close...More

We went on the first tour for the season. It is worth it and the people in charge of the boat were really friendly and knowledgeable . I highly recommend it. If you get sea sick, maybe it is something to think about.

We took this tour at the end of August and it was a once in-a-lifetime experience. We had strong winds and drizzle that day, but everything operated smoothly and the crew was friendly, professional, and on time. They did warn us the steps on the...More

I'd heard some questionable reviews about several of the boat tour operators, so I booked with Casey's Boat Trips because he had the most favorable reviews. I am very glad I booked with him -- everything went very smoothly during the process. I initially booked...More

Hi there! apologies if this is a stupid question, but the Landing Tour on Saturday Sept 2 that hubs and I were looking at (the only night we will be in Portmagee) is booked. Is there any sort of "waiting list" in case one someone cancels their reservation and a seat opens up? Thank you in advance and, again, apologies if this has been asked & answered someplace else!

I went on the landing tour of Skellig Michael with Brendan Casey May 18 finally although we had booked for the 15th. Yes it's very weather and sea condition dependent, and also unless the OPW guides go out to the island no... More

Is the Eco Tour safe for very young children? My daughter is 17 months old and has never been on a boat. Are life jackets provided?

Island tour - yes life jackets provided but landing tour - no, steep climb, slippery rocks, wet, and weather dependent so young kids not recommended.
