This is a nice alternative for walking on the beach. Some trees appears to come from fairy tales. There are trails only for hikers, but some you have to share with cyclist.

The typical oaks, that is really stunning. The western wind reduced these oaks and the Germans even call them the Zeeland bonsai.

really beautiful autumn walk of 4 km with the kids in a mix of woods, dunes and so very near the beach. We walked the blue route that passes through the Kastell Westhove. Truly worth it, specially if you are into photography!

Go and see how winds formed the oak trees into strong, yet pleasing-looking shapes. Best time to travel is probably spring, because of the masses of daffodils in bloom.
