This red sandstone 18-hole championship golf course designed by award...

This red sandstone 18-hole championship golf course designed by award winning architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry opened in July of l999. The course offers an appealing blend of traditional and contemporary architectural designs with some of the most memorable bunkering patterns in all of golf. Expansive fairways lined with luscious pines and the tranquil Brudenell River meander through some of the most stunning beauty that PEI has to offer. The newest member of Golf Links PEI, and located beside the Brudenell River Golf Course, Dundarave is an integral part of the Rodd Brudenell River Resort 45-hole complex. The natural setting of Dundarave and its proximity to the natural Brudenell course and the Canadian Golf Academy will ensure that your golf experience is one that will long be remembered. Golf Digest recently rated Dundarave at four and one half stars, raving, "Outstanding, plan your next vacation around it". SCORE Golf Magazine rated Dundarave, as part of the Brudenell River Resort, in the Top 6 Best Golf Resorts in Canada. Dundarave Golf Course is located adjacent to the Brudenell River Golf Course and the Rodd Brudenell River Resort, off Route #3 to Georgetown and is about a 35 minute drive to Charlottetown.

Our group played this course twice as we did with Brudenell, and to say Dundarave is better, just means I had a great score. The greens are lightning fast, which I like !. Club selection can be the difference on the par 5s...No GPS, which I personal don't have a problem with...Excellent condition, as its sister course Brudenell is....Hats off... More

Although Dundarave is located next to Brudenell, the fairways are more elevated with natural obstacles such as streams and vegetation to maneuver. The course is not as stunning as Brudenell for scenery but still challenging. Definitely worth a visit but not exceptional.

Good character. Some great holes and scenery. A couple of the par 4's were a bit repetitive. Course in good shape and drains well especially after a lot of rain. Great experience!

Great course, large manicured greens that roll true (but fast). Second shot on Par 5s make you think hard about club selection (lay up or go for it)? Beautiful scenery, very nice clubhouse/pro shop. Great spot for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Green fees are a little higher than average but worth it. Reading the reviews I see a lot of people are complaining... More

A well maintained, challenging course. Large, undulating, fast greens. The views will help to console you if your game is not up to par! Friendly, helpful staff. My one recommendation would be to install a gps system in each cart.

Played Dundarave 1st weekend in September and the course is absolutely spectacular! Plenty of challenging fairways but lots of tee box options for different skill levels. Pretty long distances between greens and tee boxes so you may want to consider a power cart if that's something that would wear you out. Absolutely worth the trip out to PEI.

There are several reasons that this course is consistently rated as one of Canada's best. If you are taking a goldf trip, I highly recommend the trifecta of Dundarave, Brudenell and Crowbush. Nice to go in the fall, not so hot, not so crowded.

Dundarave is a championship golf course in eastern Prince Edward Island. It is twinned with its older sibling, Brudnell River Golf, and both comprise the Brudnell Resort. Dundarave is probably the more challenging of the two. It is in terrific shape and a challenge for every skill level. There are carries over ravines which force decisions about going for it... More

This course is very pretty and long. I would definitely not walk because the holes are not that close to each other. The ladies have two long par 3 which seem hard for the average golfer. Wish they had a GPS.

The course is in excellent shape but is too expensive for the average golfer, at least on PEO where there are very nice courses $30-$40 less expensive per round. There is cart service but no GPS, which for $110 for a round and a cart, should be a given. The greens, fairways and scenery are second to none however and... More
