Our friends walked down to the beach, while us older people climbed a nearby weather station to view the whole scene from there. One can see far away of the skyline of Yantai, as well as the ships heading to South Korea. .

Exactly 30 minutes drive from the city of Yantai, fresh air and beautiful scene. Stop by on the way to Weihai. Highly recommended.

This island is not far from muping district, and its landscape is pretty pretty beautiful. Its name is original from a history thing. Qinshihuang, the first Chinese emperor, fed many horses here. Therefore, local people called it as yangma island which means Feed horses island.
