A nice view

Drove there for a visit. It is a nice place to visit, cheap for locals but they greatly increase the price for foreigners.

I visited the park with a group led by Greenleaf Tours. The wildlife does not come out to greet you, so an experienced guide who can spot the animals hidden in the forest is essential. Without their help, I doubt if I would have seen anything. It was an enlightening experience. I visited in November, which is at the end... More

if you planning on doing day trips to the national park, chances are you will be disappointed - compared to the promotion you see on websites etc... we made the 35 kilometer drive through the national park to see one of the waterfalls... one hour driving in each direction just to get there on monotonous winding roads... and the waterfall... The park is huge and the scenery spectacular. The roads twist and turn and sometimes are very steep. Beware of the other car drivers, motorbikers and cyclists. And occasional walkers. The visitors center is looking a bit dated, and the outdoor cafe was being renovated. Beware the unguarded edges over the river, and missing decking. The waterfalls are spectacular -... More

A national park, with definitely a Thai approach! So bus loads of noisy Thai tourist behaving like children will be you fellow visitor! All the waterfalls are packed with (mostly Thai) people who are sighing and groaning after 2 steps walking!!! The park itself is beautiful, but I think you have to walk to the more remote parts to enjoy... More

The park is supposed to be a natural wonder. However, there were several areas that were altered by man. There were several small reservoirs and open fields that had been constructed. The visitor center needs help. The displays need to be more informative in Thai and English. The path behind the center lacked adequate signage as to where things were.... More

Loved the park. with a good guide you will see many animals and have a full day of fun and a good hike. We saw lizards (one a meter long), scorpions, snakes, deer, and many types of primates all in their natural habitat, so much nicer than a zoo. We were not lucky enough to see elephants but accept that... More
