Most cruise ships sell this excursion at well over the top prices. Our ship did a morning and an afternoon trip of no more than 4 hours. As our Baltic cruise Thomson Spirit docked for some 13 hours to enable the Berlin tour to be...More

Rode the train 3 zones from Bad Doberan to the last stop, Kuhlungsborn which is a seaside resort town. It was early May, so very little people which was nice. A 5-10 min. walk to the beach front promenade while we passed by some little...More

We went on an excursion from a cruise, and combined it with a visit to the Minster. The little Molli train is quite nice, and it wasn't too expensive, but it was a pretty short journey, it was a bit cramped on board so you...More

While docked for the day in Warnemunde we took the bus to Bad Doberan and then the Molli to Kuhlungsborn, a delightful little seaside resort where we had an ice cream and a walk down the front. When we returned to Bad Doberan we took...More

What a fabulous nostalgic trip in a steam railway with its lovely old carriages. What surprised us more is that went straight through the Main Street of the town. You could just about touch the shops, it was just lovely trip.

The Molli is a steam train and was booked as part of an excursion. I believe this was to be an amazing journey, but it was disappointing. I didn't have the opportunity to photograph the train when it arrived, as I was walking to it...More

The Molli is a narrow gauge steam train and was good fun to ride. We had a 30 minute journey as part of an excursion but I was lead to believe that there would be some amazing scenery, especially of the coast, during the journey,...More

What fun this railway was! I had never heard of it before we came to Stralsund for a long weekend. It’s easy to get to by rail and the steam services actually connect with the main line trains. The first part of the journey from...More
