Nice afternoon at the lighthouse, it the oldest working lighthouse a lot of stairs but worth the effort. Not wheelchair accessible and if you have problems climbing stairs you can not go to the top.

No. I mean it. The tour was excellent and the lighthouse is a fab place with stunning views from the platform, but be prepared for the wind when you step out. You can get pretty close to the sea with care and there are many opportunities to take stunning photos.

Guided tours are available, there is a visitor centre, a cafe, an outdoor barbecue (hot dogs), lots of parking, a big grassy area that is great for picnics and kids to play. Even if the... More

Ask when Robbie is on as he is great! Do make the time to visit on. Clear day for great views. The home made scones in the cafe are super!

We visited Hook Lighthouse just before 5pm yesterday evening, we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff named Noel, who just so happened to be our guide for the tour. He asked everyone their names, ( a nice touch) and proceeded to show us around the lighthouse. Noel was fantastic, having been what he said was his 7th/8th... More

This place is worth a visit. The view is great, even the lanes you drive down on the way are interesting (Ring of Hook)
