Ravagni since 1421 is a family business which is mentioned for the first time in 1421 at the Florence Archivies and it's included since 1980 in the list of Italian firms. It's pduction oil, wine, vinegar, seasoned oils, soaps, oil based creams and others particular products are handmade and following their season potentiality. The products are not only sold worldwide, but are used by the family itself, family which moved in this area already since the end of the 12th century. We tried and are still trying to keep the working methods as traditional as possible even if many times quality certifications laws and health laws try to bring you to the omologations of perfumes and tastes relatively to the products you normally find in the commerce.Certainly our products are not the best of the Italy but they surely are simple and true. The Proffesor Giacomo Bartolomeiof Ravagni also prints and edits local and Italian history books and not only this.We have real but also virtual shops but we prefer to invite famalies, school and people coming from all over the world in order that they can see, smell and work if they want...

Don't waste your time going to his family's Olive farm for tasting. Our group of 7 was defrauded of money paid in advance for him to ship our orders of Olive Oil, special balsamic, and Grappa. Combined, our group paid almost $1,000 US to Francesco....More

We visited Francesco and his wife On a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. I had what I feel is the best spaghetti I have ever had. Home made pasta and sauce. So simple but so damn good! The hospitality they gave us was second to none....More

I recommend visiting the Ravagni Olive Oil farm and spending a couple of hours with Francesco learning about and tasting olive oil. He provides a unique down to earth presentation on olive oil about which he has a passion. We had a lovely time on...More

We went here based on reviews and it was better than expected. Francesco is a riveting story teller and in his broken English he wove an incredibly interesting story of how his oil is made and how mass production is killing the essential health benefits...More

This was part of a day trip in the Arezzo and Anghiari area for a group of 16; there were 4 destinations and this being the third, all pre-arranged for us. It started with Francesco showing us the olive oil 'plant', the whole process is...More

I have never felt compelled to write a review before, but this small and relatively innocuous thing that my wife wanted to do as "something in the area" turned into a fantastic early afternoon outing. The tour takes less than 15 mins as you are...More

This small farm has been producing olive oil for centuries, and Francesco takes justifiable pride in the fact that his farm still produces it by the ancient process. He is animated, enthusiastic, and in love with his craft. The tour was terrific, but only he...More

What a wonderful experience! Lunch in the garden with wine, olive oil and grappa! Fennel olive oil was my favourite! Food was so fresh! Francesco was a lovely host! A must do on your next trip to Tuscany! Eccezionale!

What a wonderful experience in the country side of Tuscany. We started with a tour of how olive is made, properly! A great time to visit is November when the olives are ripe and production is in process. But any time of year is wonderful....More
