Good hot chocolate and coffee

Nice, quaint little place. Good hot choccies and reasonable coffee. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chocolates themselves are in a range of unusual and interesting flavours.

Great place for chocoholics (Don't overspend though). Very quaint shop/coffee bar. You can also see the chocolate items being made. Not cheap but well worth a visit.

Read so many good reviews on here and although the shop is quite cute the chocolate was a let down. I love chocolate and was really looking forward to this place but was disappointed. It's expensive for the amount of chocolate you get, discounting the Norway factor. There are some fancy looking bags made into the shape of high mountains,... More

With a welcoming atmosphere and quaint decor this sweet chocolate shop is a perfect place for a rest and a stunning hot chocolate. My recommendation try the brown cheese you won't be disappointed. Also this is one of the few places with good free WiFi when in port.

Geiranger is busy in summer time. So Sjokolade is a great place to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with some great chocolate cookies, and to take some chocolate to the road ahead. (could be very crowded)

Award winning Chocolatier located in a quaint "boathouse" setting with café & kitchen adjacent. Perhaps the Disney cruise ship in the harbor had wiped them out; but there was a sparse assortment left when we shopped. Nevertheless, the dark chocolate dipped dried apricots didn't even make it into our suitcase. Also bought a slab of wonderful nutty toffee for a... More

We stopped here for hot chocolate and some chocolate. Really cute place and they actually make the high quality (thus expensive ) product downstairs. Walk down neat rock staircase and there you will see tiny kitchen. Dark chocolate with olive oil and sea salt was pretty decadent. Hot chocolate was outstanding. Brownies looks pretty damn good...

It's the old comparison of quality against cost. The chocolate here is really delicious and the variety is also very good in this tiny little shack in Geiranger. Sjokolade makes premium chocolate for a premium price and I guess it was worth a try. It's very enjoyable as an occasional treat which is what it was to me. Very nice.
