Wednesday 5th September we were out and about exploring and sightseeing in Geiranger and we visited here. We thought the entrance fee of roughly £10.50 was a bit steep, thought we may as well go in as not likely to be back in Geiranger. The...More

Been here twice now. The film at the start is really interesting and informative. The displays are OK to look at, but the highlight would be the avalanche simulation. Located in a lovely area.

Informative and nicely set up. I thought the whole museum was very interesting. It does a nice job of showing early life on the fjord to present day . It only takes about 45 mins, and it is worth the visit.

Nice place to go for a coffee and a waffle you have to help yourself to your coffee out of a coffee machine a bit more expensive than down the bottom of the hill.

A must see in Geirenger. This museum shows all there is to know about this place - human life, animal, plants & rocks - in one very smart arrangement. You won’t need much time to view it (not more than 40 min or so). Very...More

The museum is situated at next to Fossevandring waterfall. You can reach it by climbing the stairs next to the waterfall or walk dangerously along the hairpin road. The museum tells the history of Geiranger and Norway in general. A small section is about the...More
