My wife and I visited this beach twice while staying in Koggala. It was only 10 minutes from our hotel by tuktuk. This is an awesome sandy beach, with waves for those who want surfing and a large shelteredlagoon for those who want to snorkel...More

The sea & tides can be very strong in this area but this beach has its own natural lagoon created by the Reef. This makes it ideal for children & adults who are not strong swimmers. Its also ideal for safe snorkeling, with many fish...More

We had initially planned to spend the day at Unawatuna beach, but it was a little overcrowded with people and boats (the boats leave a bad smell). We took a toktok to Wijaya beach which was just beautiful. Much less crowded, fluffy sand and so...More

Nice to swim because you feel like in the huge bath. 2 sunbeds with umbrella are 1000 rupias but they arr right next to the water. Better to visit after 3 pm because people leave and it becomes very private. The place is really picturesque

The beach is beautiful and pretty quiet, not too crowded. The best thing here are the sea turtles and the naturally formed "pool" which is absolutely great for reef snorkelling: between the beach and the reef there is shallow water and no waves at all...More

This beach was out the front of our hotel and has the most perfect sunsets framed by low hanging palm trees. Cannot recommend enough!

This beach is quality! The tide was very rough when I went but in the sea regardless as it creates a swimming pool type lagoon, best of all I saw a very large turtle! Must go here!

The tide leaves a lagoon, so it's good swimming for kids. Giant turtles come into the lagoon so you can swim alongside these amazing creatures.

Hey, there are plenty of homestays and guest houses nearby, n the beach is spread across the entire cost line, so u can look for an accommodation depending upon ur budget !
