During Christmas 2016 there was no snow in Innsbruck, however, great Christmas Markets! So for skiing we went to the Stubaier Glacier by a free ski bus just outside our Hotel in the central Innsbruck and it was a great experience with lots of snow and long well prepared slopes. We've got a three days ski pass and rented skis... More

the gletcher is high enough. up to 3200 meter to guarantee snow. there are close to 30 skilifts and plenty of possibilities for beginning and moderate skier. not so much for snowboarding, more family type of tracks

As a traveller from Sunny South Africa snow has to be a given!. Stubai offers this at a resort that is less then 20 minutes from the main residential villages on fast comfortable busses. The new 3G cable car is quite incredible , less than 10 minutes from the bottom station to the top station. There are ski runs for... More

First time we spent a week in Stubai. The Gletscher offers something for everyone. Wide pists so you don't feel like it is crowded even thought it might be a busy day. 2 gondolas which take you up the Gletscher. The new Eisgrat gondola is fantastic - lots of space and it only takes 11 minutes to get to the... More

Snowboarding for 3 days. May not be the best for snowboarder but it's "THE MOUNTAIN" for skiers! Loving it, no regret about it.

This was my first experience skiing (both Alpine and Nordic). It is good place for both novice and experienced alike. On a sunny day, the snowy mountain comes alive and the view is second to none. There is also view point to look at all the towering peaks and a huge chair to take a cheeky photo.

The Stubaier Gletscher is a great ski area for young and old, beginner or expert. Due to its high altitude you have a guarantee for snow. Since this year that have a new modern lift with WIFI. The pistes are very wide and there are plenty of blue and red. There are only a few black piste. You can also... More

Great ski area is a brillent area for novice up to advance level skiers, has some free ride areas and touring spots but can all be skied out in a week of decent skiing. Facilities and service are all excellent. lots of lifts and the new gondola is very quick.

Went by bus from neustift, took about 40mins and was 15 euros per couple return. The glacier is amazing and the views were breath taking, fab cafes and restaurants. Couldnt get enough of this place, its a MUST!!!!

My friend and I decided to go to Stubai after we found out that all the mountains in Innsbruck were closed down for a few more weeks. We figured out how to get to the Stubai glacier (figuring out the specific bus and times was a bit complicated). The price to go up the glacier-- we were only there to... More
