We hired a boat and travelled an hour to this incredibly beautiful beach. As a reserve you need to anchor 100m from the beach and swim to shore. It's absolutely beautiful. There is a hike to the beach, which we didn't do but also looks...More

We went to Cala Goloritze via Punta Salina. It is a longer and more challenging hike than the usual. For this hike you will definitely you need proper hiking shoes and good description (Rother Wanderfuhrer for German-speaking!). We were surprised that you pay for entrance...More

It's a long walk down but the beach is totally worth it. The water is so clear and there are either rocks to lay out on or small pebbles. The walk down is lovely. Make sure you bring enough water to do the walk back...More

The first sight of the beach is breathtaking - Sardinia comes top of the pile for us in terms of its beaches. The hike down from the car park is approx 1-1.5 hours for a fit person stopping every so often for photos. The hike...More

There's actually a beach but you have to swim to it - boats can only take you about 20 yards (estimation - may be farther) from the shore. You can also hike to it, but I'm told it's several hours hike if you choose that...More

Amazingly beautiful beach. It's quite a hike to get here, although even when not in great condition it's doable. Make sure you have good walking shoes and plenty of water and you'll be fine. It'll be worth every drop of sweat. This is truly one...More

As trekking lover I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Cala Goloritze on my Sardinian holidays. We were there in mid-September and our trip started in Santa Maria Navaresse. We got to the parking lot located about 750 m away from Su Porteddu by car....More

Can you get to Cala Goloritze by boat? Not to see it but to actually land close enough to the beach to where its either a wade or short swim. we are staying in Santa Maria Navarrese . The reviews seem to suggest you can do a hop on/off boat. Ideally be dropped off and picked up later. However other comments suggest no boats at all. My wife is not big on doing the hike + it would save several hours thanks

Hello, My husband and I are planning to go to Cala Goloritze in June. We are coming by plane, and we found that Olbia airport is the closest. I looked everywhere but can't seem to find an exact schedule of the buses from Olbia to Cala Goloritze. Also, has anyone been there camping? What are some nice camping sites? Thank you

we are planning a trip to Sardinia in Sep and would love to see Cala Goloritze. Where did you base yourselves? I am wondering if it is possible to drive from Cala Gonone to the starting point (parking lot at the bar/restaurant)? Also, do you think the hike is suitable for 6 and 8 year olds? Thank you Dragana
