My daughter and I took the Clay Hills tour with Roberto, and were lucky to have our own private tour with Roberto. This tour was one of the highlights of our time visiting Italy! Roberto is a wealth of knowledge, and has an obvious delight in his work. His sense of humor adds to the enjoyment; what a fun, fun... More

We wanted to visit the Siena area after a week of cycling in and around Riccione, and Tours By Roberto had excellent recommendations. And we found the high marks to be well deserved! We were "escorted" by Roberto himself, who picked us up in Siena after collecting customers from Florence and other points in Tuscany. His 8-passenger van was clean... More

Wanting to surprise my husband with a day to remember- I booked a Clay Hills trip with Roberto, and we were not disappointed. He picked us up from our hotel, we then picked up another couple, who were a delight to be with. Up through the Clay Hills we visited the Monastery there, Roberts's knowledge and understanding was impeccable (if... More

Tours by Roberto turned out to be a wonderful day and tour. We were fortunate to have Roberto as a guide during our tour of the Clay Hills around Siena. We were picked up in a van just outside of Siena as we were coming from Volterra but the rest of fellow travelers were picked up at their hotels. We... More

Tours by Roberto provide small group tours of Tuscany (no more than 8 people). We had a group of six and our tour guide, Marco, was highly professional and extremely informative. We visited an abbey, a small town with beautiful views, and a local family-run winery where we ate a homemade pasta meal and drank a wonderful brunello. This was... More

Our travel agent (Beach Bum Lisa) warned us that the tour we were going to take was for people who love wine and boy was she right and good thing that we love wine! We met Andrea for a tour of Chianti at our hotel. He was prompt and started things off right away. We were lucky and just happened... More

We booked a tour of several small hill towns of Tuscany (Montichiello, Pienza, Montepulciano) with a driver, Andreas. We did this as a join - along tour and therefore another couple joined us which was perfect. Our driver and guide was extremely helpful, interesting and personable. We did an all day tour which I highly recommend. It was great to... More

We booked a one day tour and were lucky enough to have Roberto himself. Our tour took us to the Clay Hills. There were 8 total on the trip. The first stop was the Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggione, a monastery from the 1300's. Roberto gave us a great history lesson and spent time talking about the colorful frescoes. He's... More

We booked the double-wine Chianti + Brunello tour out of Florence. Our driver, Fabio, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the different stops on the tour and was very helpful in answering our general questions about Italy. The two wineries we stopped at were fantastic finds. The first one is a family-run farm/winery with very reasonably priced, delicious... More

My friend and I felt our Chianti wine tour was by far the best day of our 10 day trip in Italy! Our driver, Giacomo, was personable and hospitable. The winery we visited, La Piaggia, was a picturesque biodiverse vineyard (we ate figs off their fig tree while learning about the process of growing the grapes). A family from Canada... More
