We scheduled a morning cheese tasting at tour of the farm at Podere Il Casale. The experience was simply superb. We were given an extremely comprehensive and knowledgeable tour by one of the farm's senior staff members. He went over the history of the farm, the methods of sustainability, their meat, their crops, and took us to see how and... More

We did a tour of this farm with our 3 children (ages 9, 7 and 3).The farm itself is beautiful with amazing scenery and the kids enjoyed meeting the animals and seeing how delicious pecorino is made. After, we had a delicious lunch and great wine. I would highly recommend a visit to this farm!

A wonderful, picturesque little place which I would highly recommend to visit both for the scenery and family run restaurant. The food is very fresh and the selection of wines, excellent👌🏻. Micheal, one of the family members, made us feel very welcome and was very friendly. I would definitely go back there again😊We had a wonderful evening.

We came for a tour and lunch via word of mouth (Podere Spedalone). Alessandra was so sweet. She took us around the grounds and took the time to share with us the philosophy of her farm. We saw so many animals, my pregnant wife was in seventh heaven! Hens, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, pigs, peacocks, cats... Food was absolutely stunning.... More

We visited on a beautiful March afternoon. Sandra, the owner, greeted us and related the story of the surrounding valley and then took us on a fun and interesting tour of her farm and cheese production facility. Full of information, Sandra was the ultimate guide and ambassador. Following the tour we enjoyed a wine and cheese tasting of products produced... More

On a great trip perhaps our best day. We came in march and Sandra the farm owner had lots of time to spend with us. We hunted truffles in the morning. Tasted some wine, wine tour and had a great meal. Then just hung out with the animals and dogs. Rural Tuscany complimented well our days in Siena and Rome.... More

I wanted to do a local cheese tour at a rustic farm while my wife, and 2 friends, were in Tuscany and at random chose this place. This was the surprise of our entire trip, and one of the highlights! Sandra and her husband took so much time to show us their farm, tell us their story and give us... More

The owner of our agristurismo recommended us to come here for organic farm experience, and it was great! The sunset view was lovely. We learned a lot about Sandra's organic farm. The tasting menu was super delicious. I normally don't eat sheep/ cheese, but the pecorino and goat cheese here are so tasty, I actually ate and loved them! Organic... More

The tour was certainly pleasant & informative followed by a truly delicious lunch in a beautiful setting. We had such a nice time with the owner and her family that we returned a couple of days later for dinner. The dinner was not as special as the lunch but we saw an incredible sunset.

The day was cloudy, rainy and cold...so we didn't have high expectations. However, the owners of this farm created a day for us that turned out to be our favorite of the entire trip. The owners are extremely hard working and friendly people that impressed us beyond belief. We learned about the intricacies of making cheese and afterwards, sat in... More
