Avoid at all cost. Tourist trap
Mar 2020
Avoid at all cost. Rip-off. Unfriendly staff, poor food, exorbitant prices. We payed 220 euros per person for a disgusting salad, a little cheese and a pasta with perhaps 1g of low quality turffle.

Good food, breathtaking view
Aug 2020
This is a must in Pienza simply for the view which is utterly breathtaking. The food is also divine all of which is local produce including the cheese which is a highlight.

Relaxing garden setting, stunning views, quirky place
Jul 2020
I stopped by this farm to pick up their famous pecorino cheese and was lucky to get a table at the restaurant for coffee. The place is just gorgeous, with stunning views over the rolling Tuscan hills; the garden is so pleasant to just relax. Service is friendly, and the grounds are quite interesting: there are some old kitchen furniture items from a bygone era and beautiful peacocks grazing around. A must-visit stop during your tuscan holiday.

Truffle experience
Jul 2019
We reserved for the truffle hunt and lunch. We got there early to enjoy the view over the countryside. The view is likely much better during dinner when the light is softer, certainly during the summer. The hunt was staged where we walked down a trail from the parking lot. More than once the gentleman had to tug on the dog's leash to direct him to the hidden truffle. Granted you probably wouldn't want to go on a real hunt which might involve a long drive and take most of the day, with cross country hiking.

You could see the whole farm in 15 minutes. It took a while to get the attention of the staff as they process a lot of customers through here, doing various classes. The lunch was ho hum, certainly for the price, even with truffles added to the dishes.

BLISS
Sep 2019
Amazing location and amazing food. The view is just incredible! Go for lunch when the weather is nice. That is what we did on the recommendation of another local place and we were so happy. Their food and wine is all from their own production. This place really felt special. There were peacocks walking around, cats lounging in the sun and us drinking wine and basking in the Tuscan sun. Pure bliss.

Delightful Rustic Restaurant & Farm
Sep 2019 • Couples
We did a farm tour and ate at the restaurant. I would reccomend walking the grounds by yourself and getting a reservation at the restaurant.
There is an optional cheeses making class and tour that we did not try.
The food was plated & presented perfectly. It was all magazine picture worthy. It tasted as good as it looked. The preset lunch menu included nice wines. The view and setting is STUNNING. We felt like we were in a Food & Wine magazine cover shoot.
Service was very good also.
It is worth the drive. We spent a good 3 hours there.
A highlight of our 3week trip.

More Tuscany than you could ever imagine!!
Nov 2019 • Family
Please please please visit!! This place is soooo amazing in so many levels. There is so much conscious farming and living. The energy is incredible. Sandra the wonder was our companion for 6 hours and she is such a fountain of knowledge about conscious living!! What an inspiration she is!!

Went there with our 3 year old boy. We did a pasta cooking class. Oh what joy!! I read many reviews about other such classes in Tuscany and was a bit sceptical before we drove to this organic farm. Boy was I amazed!! The experience was soooo amazing. My little one spent almost 2 hours making pasta with us and he LOVED it! Great tips, great fun and Sandra made sure he was part of the whole process. In the end he was the center of the whole process!!

The farm is so beautiful. We have already started discussing it as the venue for an upcoming wedding!

The wines, the olive oils, the cheeses, the amazing veg garden, the farm-to-table philosophy, the welcoming arms of Sandra, the beautiful Tuscan countryside - we were so sad to leave!

Please go! You will learn so much and feel enriched. Ask questions! Meet Sandra!

What an amazing experience.

Beyond anything we expected.

Pure Tuscany
Nov 2019 • Couples
Absolutely loved this perfect corner of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived there w as s a friendly welcome and a willingness to share the passion for the natural products of the farm. The restaurant is great and we also took the pizza class that was a very special 4/5 hours with the lovely Sandra who owns and runs the farm with husband, Ulisse. What a great couple. Hopefully we will return

Amazing Cheese Making Tour & Tasting
Oct 2019
We recently took a group of 12 to Podere Il Casale for a cheesemaking tour followed by a delicious tasting and lunch. Ulisse was a great host and he took the time to give us an incredible tour...we learned so much! And the cheese and wine were so good! Everyone in the group had a wonderful time.
