Lovely promenade and cycle track along Serena Beach

The cycle track alongside the promenade has now been extended and I rode from the edge of the Natural Park up to the marina in Roquetas. I saw the beach being cleaned on both... read more

Great, really clean and well maintained beach that's goes on for many kilometres. Never crowded, even in high season because there is so much space. Great prom for walks and cycling lane and plenty of cafes restaurants interspersed all along. Water sport activities available at some sections (not sure but may not be available in off-seasons). Its a refined area... More

We visited here in Winter and the beach looked stunning then. Quiet and peaceful, well looked after, it must be even better in the spring and summer. A walkway, off the beach, has been provided along with a cycle way. These allow you to walk or cycle from Roquetas to Aguadulch. As you get a little closer to the town,... More

The sun was warm in our face as we strolled from Roquettas along the beachside path, being January of course there were no sun beds out, indeed the only people on the beach itself were Spanish Families having Barbecues. The beach seems to be a fine gravel and there are plenty of showers scattered along its length - 1.76 kilometres.... More

The cycle track alongside the promenade has now been extended and I rode from the edge of the Natural Park up to the marina in Roquetas. I saw the beach being cleaned on both days I cycled or walked along the promenade. There are showers on the beach which is pebbled. The weather was sunny and warm (25 degrees) and... More

Fantastic beach very clean and well maintained, plenty of sun beds for hire, one of the best promenade walks which also was well maintained. If I had one criticism it would be the beach did fall off quite quickly and at this point sand under foot very soft this is why only 4 not 5 stars

The beach looks really nice and there are plenty of places where you can rent sun loungers or do water activities. Walking on the beach is not so nice though. The sand or actually it's not even sand but more grinded stones is vey coarse and I don't really like that.
