A must see if you are in the area. Apart from the tourists, its an absolute peaceful gem. Take a while to read up on the history and the info about the place.

It's a mysterious spot , where my cousin's grandma suggested that we should go there and have a see. We drove there from Ulm and enjoy the way there 😊. It's a small town that is pretty and silence. It's worth a see if you are around there.

Enjoyed visiting this natural spring. There is a nice walkway around the spring and a restaurant adjacent to the spring. Get here early, this is a popular place with the locals. Definitely make time to see the old blacksmith mill.

An easy walk from the station & through the lovely old town of Blaubeuren with its part wooden buildings. A sunny day made my visit perfect as the intense blue colour was stunning. The reflections of the forest with its walking paths up the mountain + the working waterwheel by the Cafe were magical. The statue of Beautiful Blau is... More

What a charming spot! The scenery and the waterway are lovely, especially in the fall. Easy to walk around the area. The adjoining museum is excellent and highly organized with ancient artifacts including miniature carvings and musical instruments. A video describes the caves and underground water system. Good gift shop. An excellent excursion for the entire family. Blautopf is about... More

Our German friends took us to this spot where the water flows up from under the mountains and eventually flows into the Danube. It is amazingly blue due to the natural limestone in the water.
