Wonderful time in autumn shower
Nov 2018 • Friends
On recommendation of good friends we sampled a brilliant Sunday at sauna and spa. Definitly worth the drive. Steam, Finnland Sauna, thermal pool... all very clean and well maintained. The bar/restaurant serves nice dishes, as healthy or wholesome as you may like.

Relaxing day
Apr 2018 • Couples
We went there for a whole day.
It is quite a peaceful place, where it is easy to relax, to switch activities from time to time, without feeling any hurry. Even the meal at noon was quite enjoyable and tasty.

Disappointed
Sep 2017 • Friends
This is more a swimming pool with sauna attached than real wellness. Staff is very cold and rigid. People were extremely rude. We didn't know sauna was naked and they began treating us badly immediately. We took off bathing suit but kept our towel around us and even that they wouldn't accept they tried ro force us being exposed all the way

An Affordable Spa Experience - Worth A Visit
Sep 2017 • Couples
My wife and I visited this spa while staying in the Mosel area. The cost was very reasonable and they even allow you to bring your own bathrobes and towels to avoid rental costs. They also permit you to bring your own drinking water. There is a very nice eating area by the sauna and pool so you can eat and return to the pool or other activities. The saunas are mixed and no bathing suits permitted. Towels are mandatory though and a person could leave their towel wrapped around them if they so wish. There is something for everyone.

Sumptuous spa with spectacular amenities and range of options off the Mosel
Sep 2016 • Couples
A short drive off the Mosel routes is Bad Bertrich. An old spa town with its 19th century core, Vulkaneifel Therme sits above the town in an inviting modern building. Good signage and ample parking bring you to this wonderful oasis of tranquility, self-pampering, and relaxation. In addition to a great front desk on the ground floor, a warm and glass and steel long area gives breathtaking vistas of the old town. the tourist office is close by and provides an overview of entertainment, food, and lodging after your pampering is over. the locker and changing rooms are novel and creative. Large pool area provides inside and outside relaxing and swimming with warming tubs, jets, lounge chairs, massaging spouts of water, and bar and nearby restaurant service. Move to the upper levels and enjoy a hamam, foot soaking facilities, warmer lounging tubs, and six saunas each with different temperatures. outdoor lounge chairs allow one to enjoy taking the sun. Water, beverages, and more personal massage and body pampering are available. Basic costs for pools and saunas are just a few euros (8-13); and extras can add more relaxation and expense. But even the novitiate must admit that, for the money, this is one of the great deals in this part of the country. A wonderful two hours and well worth the detour from the trip to Koblenz and Burg Eltz!

A great place to relax
Aug 2016 • Friends
It was a spontaneous visit with my family.
It took us a minute to figure out which package we should buy but all worked out well. Even though the receptionist was not really helpful.

Once we were in it was awesome. Inside and outside pools, many different sauna reaching from 60°c up to 100°c. After that straight into the cold water pool.. Just amazing.

The beer is great as well ;)

Blissful
Aug 2016 • Family
Another great thermal swimming pool. Germany really knows how to do a pool. Who wants to stand in freezing cold water while the kids splash around? Not me. There's even a super little café at the side so you could easily just get out, slip on a robe and watch everyone else. If I'd known about the café earlier I'd have thought to have brought a towel/robe up but I guess you would know that if you lived here - and it mostly was locals. Clean, well maintained and amazing views of the vineyard from the outside pool. It was also only 20 euros for all 4 of us for 2 hours. Not bad value at all.

Lovely small Thermae
Dec 2015 • Solo
Winter visit on a dull day. This is a clean modern thermae with all you could want. Gorgeous hot water, decent restaurant and a lovely proper sauna area including cool down pool. I arrived unexpected and was able to rent towel and robe no problem, friendly team, English not an issue. Will definitely be back. If you need to ask, yes it's kit off sauna.

Lovely quiet spa. It is a pitty that there is no all in entrance fee for pool and sauna area! The massage was great!
