Old church built over Gargano sword for n stone he placed there in 1180 turning to life of peace. Interesting place. Neat gift shop. Can do it n less than 20 minutes. Up hill from big destroyed Abby.

Sword encased by San Galgano that was a knight from Chiusdino. He embedded his own sword as a symbol of peace to definitely give up arms and begin a new life in faith as a hermit at Hermitage of Monte Siepi.

Very nice church where you can see the only sword in the rock in the world. Just 500 meters walking distance from the San Galgano church.

It was an interesting walk from the church, its a very interesting place... The kids also loved the story of the knight who turned into a priest.
