This is a great way to see the side of the island that is otherwise forbidden for visitors. The whole trip takes about two hours, including 30 minutes to walk around when you're there. Bring binoculars and you will likely see seals in the distance!

This was my second time on this trip . The first time I was stunned by the changing light and drifting sands . This time ,completely different weather . Huge blue skies and intricate sand patterns caused by the shells and little bits of flotsam . We saw lots of seabirds , and some fishermen in the shallows with nets... More

We have been coming to Schiermonnikoog since we were kids and never been to the far east of the island, so today we went! It cost €13 per person and you leave in a carriage behind a tractor from the villlage to the beach and then all along the beach to the east side of the island at low tide.... More

I like to see the endless beaches on Schiermonnikoog, never seen something like there. And it's fun to see the seehounds across the beach sleaping in the sun.
