Beautiful area

We went on a cold and rainy day, but it was still beautiful. We drove through the park by car but we stopped several times to check for wildlife. Don't forget to bring binoculars.

Last weekend we went to visit Kroller Muller museum. What was to be a fun day of art, turned into a bitter after taste. To get to the museum you are requested to pay entry to the park you have no intention to visit. Cost of 2 entries, entry for the car, turned into €19.60 for a forced purchase we... More

Definitely coming back as there was too much to take in on one visit. Had a drive round the park and did the gallery but next time want to do the sculpture park and hunting lodge. Stop off at the visitors centre as there is much to see and do about how the park was formed. All fascinating. One of... More

Had an amazing autumn day at the park that was meant to only be a morning stop. Was worth every minute and the entrance fee. I darted on my bike along roads, darted on cycling paths, darted on forest roads, ...and darted a little in the forest too 😄. Was a blast and soooo so beautiful. Didn't see any buck... More

Veluwe National Park is simply a treasure. With acres of untouched wilderness, wild boars, wild horses and deer, this park is a must see. In a country that is relatively flat, the hills are a welcome feature.

This is a great park to walk or ride through, especially by bike. When you do not have your own bikes, you can use the white bikes you find all over the park for free. They are not so comfortable, mind, but still it can be nice to vary with walking. It is great to spot birds of prey and... More

This park was a hunting reserve for the Royals, but is now open to the public. The landscape is flat - and white bicycles are provided to use in the park at no charge. Holland is densely populated and this park offers lots of open space and fresh air.
