There are some well-known museums in the Netherlands like Mauritzhaus in the Hague or Van Gogh museum but I also admire local cosy museums with beautiful landscapes.
North Veluwe museum in town Nunspeet is the one. Here you can come for inspiration especially when you fond of landscapes like I do.
Spring is the time when you want to paint flowers, but in autumn - landscapes are preferred.
Especially when now in the Netherlands is beautiful golden autumn.
Very hospitable stuff and nice atmosphere helps to enjoy the paintings.

A lot of very nice paintings and drawings of him are to be seen at this new temporary exhibition (till Sept, 29th). Very worth visiting.
Friendly staff. Nice new (< less 5 years) museum building. Good coffee and cakes.
On the first floor the permanent collection is also worth visiting.

Because we had a relative who donated a painting to the museum, we received a private tour by the museum director on the day it is normally closed. We learned a lot about art and artists from the local area.

Rien Poortvliet. Perhaps the Netherlands' most underrated painter, draughtsman and narrator. But....very worth a visit! What beautiful works.
This also applies to the standard collection,
