This was an ambition achieved. A fantastic experience. The guides were very good and explained fully how we should behave before we started the walk. No way are these Lions sedated, they were alert, active well trained animals. we walked with 2 x 2year olds and 2x 6month old cubs A wonderful experience with fantastic photos and a video.

Initially thought the lions would be sedated and we would be just seating close to it. But when we actually visited didn't think they were sedated but well fed hence they were silent. Instructions were to stick with the group and we also got our own selfie time with the lions under the guides instructions. Worth a visit for sure

We went with a group to Casela, but I was lucky enough to sign up and experience the Lion walk on my own. I know my group had fun with the zip lines and lion encounter. Since me and few friends were doing the lion walk we got to do a tiger encounter as well. The tiger encounter: the tigers... More

Many tourists and even Mauritians are very happy to have an encounter with lions and to have a walk with them. The price is really affordable. There is opportunity to take pictures with the lions too

On one of my three visits to Casela my friends/colleagues had the pleasure of going on a walk with the lions. Our guide, Loic, was not only experienced, but very sociable with all of us and had us entertained for the entire journey. The staff that accompanied us was truly exemplary, you could see how much all of them loved... More

This trip was well worth it. We thought why not! this is a once in a life time experience. The handlers were very competent and made us safe and were very clear with instructions.

Walked with two 4 year old lions. Had a lot of photo opportunity. Stroked lions a lot. Held their tails whilst walking. Thrilling experience being so close to such majestic animals. Guide was very informative and multilingual. Guys helping with lions were professional but also fun. All round amazing time. Would recommend to anyone.

Through a separate charge you can interact with Lions as a group, where you get a chance to stroke the Lion designated for that purpose. They mention 10 minutes for the interaction, but effectively it is only for a few minutes and few photo clicks only. Still it is a thrilling experience as the Lioness turned around during our interaction... More
