The place is wonderful, water is good. Just it is bit overcrowded, it was like this in September. We couldn't find a place to pay down. The environment is very friendly and lovely.

so many restaurants close to the beach, next to hotel Zafiria, parking place,toilet, camp, supermarket, souvenir shops, good for children, with special part and equipment to invalids parasol and sunbeds

there isn't many brits but most of the Greeks speak English as do the Germans, Dutch etc

If you mean the caves of Matala beach , you can walk to them without problem.
