We walked from the bridge, along the river, taking in the small climb to the little Agii Anargyi monastery overlooking it. The waters were so clear and the varying riverbed materials (sand, white pebbles, rocks) gave it an amazing array of colours. There were rafters sailing downstream adding to the colours in their lifejackets and the walk through the trees... More

The landscape around Voidomatis river is just breathtaking. The color of the water is deep green. You should definitely try the rafting tour!

The views from the river are gorgeous. In the winter the water turns deep green on clear days and it's very calm. Beautiful and serene. Take the rafting tour and see more.

Such a beautiful place. A must see, take your camera and click away. Where ever your eye falls on it is incredible. The colour of the river and the trees with roots growing in the river is spectacular. So peaceful and surreal. This was our second visit there and it still was like seeing it for the first time

This rive has fantastic colors once it gets out of the ground. If you'll visit the Vikos canyon observation points, which have amazing views of their own, you'll be quite surprised to see that the river is (may be) actually dry on those spots. But further down, definitely below the village of Vikos and under the bridge of the road... More

We took the relatively easy and medium level hikes on both sides of the gorge as well as down in the gorge together with 3 kids, youngest on being 3--ranging from 4km to 10km each path. We would have done more if we stayed more days. Each with something amazing to see---if you like walking it's a perfect place to... More

This is a great place to go rafting but also just to take in the peace and quiet and the freshness of the river waters. The temperature of the water rarely changes from 9°C so it is cold but crystal clear. The bridge is a classic arch design. It is not a long river but it is all stunning.
