Useful overview of local attractions. But really not much more than that. Upstairs had a few photos but not a real museum per se.

Find out all you need to know about the Kildare history and attractions here. Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed talking to him. They have a nice video upstairs, too. Plus they have the very best Ireland map! Better than any other!

A very helpful man, also a professional photographer, who gave us good advice, who promoted Kildare well, and especially the amazing building, which is truly spectacular....

We went in to ask some questions and we did get our answers, but also found a man who knew irish history, we loved hearing the history of the town. Did you now that there are twelve ways into kildare, this is the place to stop and find out why. Absolutely loved the conversation.

Staff went out of their way to make sure we got the best out of our visit to Kildare. They had lots of information and maps etc. Even told us how to get into St Brigid's when we thought it was closed! Thank you!

We stopped in to quickly ask what we could do in Kildare. The man on duty (I'm sorry I've forgotten his name) locked up the Tourist Office and took us across the road to the church and gave us a short personal tour! When we went back to the Office he spent another half hour telling us about the history... More

We took our cub scouts 9-12 year olds on a walking tour with the heritage centre. Was amazing to learn so much history associated with the town I've been living in for so long. Some of the kids were a bit bored but most of them were fascinated. Especially the gruesome stories about Dan Donnelly's arm!
