Beautiful Scenery of Changzhou

One of the popular and best landmark of Changzhou! The warmth welcome and traditional atmosphere was the first impression when I went to this temple.

Tianning Temple has a long history since Tang Dynasty while the Tianning Pagoda was built after. A place worth to visit and it has a very good view of Hongmei Park from the Pagoda.

The walk to the Tianning Temple in Beijing is an interesting walk through a neighborhood built in the 60's and 70's juxtaposed by a railway line and the property boom / bust of modern China. The Temple itself reflects the pollution borne through this modern economic boom and is reflected in the smile of the Buddha as a Bhodisatva sitting... More

Tianning Temple is one of the main attraction of this city. I could not enter inside the Pagoda because my timings did not match. Was in Changzhou for a day for a business meeting and couldn't explore much of this place. But from what I have heard, Its a good experience to be in there. Its definitly huge.

For me, this pagoda is THE place you must have seen when you've been to Changzhou. Enjoy the wonderful crystal Buddha and the great overview from the top floor.

The temple itself is very special and it's easy to see why it is so highly prized by Buddhists worldwide. Worth going to the top floor for views of the city (or smog)

This is just next to Hongmei park. Can combined the two on one trip. Temple wise, it is the usual Chinese temple, just a little bigger. The pagoda however was impressive. However, there is an entrance fee to the temple and a separate fee to go up the pagoda. 20 yuan to enter the temple and 80 yuan for a... More

Absolutely amazing, the craftsmanship of these temple it's out of this world. Inside you will find 15 floors of ancient history, great views of the city on the upper floors, and an attention to detail that only that country can have!! Luis
